The LabTool-848XP Windows Vista driver work under Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows XP (32 bit), Windows Vista (32 bit) and Windows 7 (32 bit) OS, it do not support Windows XP (64 bit), Windows Vista (64 bit) and Windows 7 (64 bit).

Advantech Equipment is developing Windows 7(64 bit) driver, this driver will only available with USB interface ,After this Windows 7 (64bit) is ready , it will replace the current windows Vista driver.

Customer with valid SW update license can down load the new Windows 7 (64 bit) driver without extra charge.

This driver is free for Labtool-848XP shipped after July 2010, but it provides one year free update service only.

One year later , customer has to order an S/W update service to get a new license for software update service in next two year.

Customers who own LabTool-848XP shipped before year 2010 , if customer want to run the 848XP under the Vista or Windows 7 (32 bit) OS , customer has to order the software update service to get two year update services.

Submit the LabTool-848XP self-test report file to us to test the serial number of customer's LabTool-848XP.

Advantech Equipment will issue a temporary S/W link path to customer by email. Customer has to download the Vista driver within 3 days.

The Vista driver will recognize the unit by the serial number submitted in the self-test file. Each driver gets two years update service from our web.

Two years later, customer needs to order the next two years SW update service with same procedure.

Customer has to keep the last version of LabTool-848XP Vista driver if customer does not want to purchase the new Vista driver.

The LabTool-848XP Win XP driver which supports Win 98, Win 2000, Win XP will be still available and update on web free of charge.

You need to order a new two year S/W update service again if you want continuously to get the Vista S/W update service. If you do not order the new Vista S/W update service, even you can download the latest S/W from our web, you can not execute the updated Vista S/W in your machine and you need to go back to old version Vista driver.
